Boston Courier Statement on COVID-19

  1. Recently, a State of Emergency was declared by Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker.
  2. The governors of the key states in Boston Courier’s service area, which includes all of
  3. New England, Southern Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, have
  4. also declared a State of Emergency in these states.
  5. The purpose of a State of Emergency is to ensure the government and the public are
  6. prepared for the spread of COVID-19. The State of Emergency allows a state to access
  7. federal resources, including funding, to treat its population. Declaring a State of
  8. Emergency also helps limit the spread of COVID-19 by encouraging the general public to
  9. take precautionary measures, such as:
    • Washing your hands
    • Seeking medical attention when you are sick
    • Staying home when you don’t feel well
  10. Boston Courier takes the health and safety of our clients and our drivers seriously. To 
  11. ensure seamless service to our clients and do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-
  12. 19, all drivers are equipped with Hand Sanitizer Products and Gloves for pick up and delivery.
  13. Boston Courier’s drivers are required to keep their vehicles clean, disinfected where
  14. applicable, and mechanically sound. Disinfectant products are available to drivers on request.
  15. Drivers are not allowed to work when they feel ill. Boston Courier has a fully redundant
  16. courier staff that decreases pressure on our employees to work when they are not
  17. feeling well while ensuring there is always a courier available to our clients, 24/7/365.
